Almost every room in this house was remodeled over a 5 year period. Having a long range plan made it easier to establish stop and start points. Remodeling the kitchen did not require removing any walls. However, refinishing all the wood floors did leave the homeowners with limited access to the house for a few days.
The island cabinets are a custom depth to accommodate nicer size walk ways. This was an option since appliances were not located in it. The buffet wall was designed as a coffee and wine area.

This kitchen was designed using Bertch cabinetry-
The black cabinets: Birch wood, Villager:full overlay door style, Black stain.
Other cabinets: Cherry wood, Oxford door style, brindle stain.
