This kitchen remodel was a tight squeeze in the available space. The goal was to design a functional kitchen that included 72” of freezer/refrigeration space, a 48” range, two sinks and two dishwashers and a microwave above the countertop. The goal was achieved by removing an existing corner pantry and designing custom depth cabinets to work around the plumbing and duct work for the entire 2nd level of the home. The island feels much like table and accommodates 5. There is a special cabinet designed for a step stool. A 6” deep pantry is a perfect space for spices; while it hides the duct work behind it. The tall mouldings allowed room to run the hood venting directly out to the exterior.
