Transforming an Established Neighbourhood Yard | CLS Landscape

This project was a complete demolition of the front and back yards and installation of all new landscaping. Because it is in an established neighbourhood the challenge of this project was to work around 30-foot spruce trees with complex root systems.

A young family lives in this home so they wanted places to play so we incorporated plenty of sod and a soccer area. The backyard has irrigation and features a Stackstone firepit. This firepit includes a gas insert making it low maintenance and easy to operate. We have Roman circle pavers around the fireplace and a cut-in inlay of Roman block pavers. There is also a beautiful composite deck in the backyard and although the trees were a challenge they provide lots of shade and privacy, making this a relaxing space for the homeowners.
