Ce projet a été une opportunité pour notre équipe de créer un nouveau milieu de vie à la campagne, en bordure de la rivière Missisquoi dans les vallons de Mansonville. La nouvelle résidence vient s’ancrer sur l’ancien site d’une grange patrimoniale dont il ne reste que les fondations de béton. En positionnant la résidence en contre-bas, derrière les fondations, nous avons profité des vestiges pour y aménager une chute d’eau de plus de 10 pieds de hauteur. Ce point focal est aligné avec la porte d’entrée et apporte une allure particulière à la façade, tout en dissimulant les bruits de circulation pour un son d’eau apaisant. Le choix des floraisons dans les teintes chaudes combiné à une sélection de végétaux simples d’entretien contribue à créer une ambiance champêtre et chaleureuse.

This project was an opportunity for our team to create a new living environment in the countryside, along the Missisquoi River in the Mansonville valleys. The new residence is anchored on the former site of a heritage barn of which only the concrete foundations remain. By positioning the residence below, behind the foundations, we took advantage of the remains to create a waterfall over 10 feet high. This focal point is aligned with the front door and brings a distinctive look to the façade, while concealing traffic noise for a soothing water sound. The choice of florals in warm tones combined with a selection of low-maintenance plants contributes to creating a warm, country atmosphere.
