Walker Lane Reno
This 1855 residence was once home to the owner a world famous traveling circus. The original concept for the home was inspired by the grand, antebellum residences the circus owner saw while taking the circus through the American South in the late 1800s. The owners of the home today sought to pay homage to the original style of the home, while updating it to make it more functional for their family of four. Michaelson Homes, with woodworking by Riverside Custom Cabinetry, gutted the kitchen, redesigned an en suite to the master bedroom, and added custom etched glass pocket doors to the cased opening between the living room and family room.
