A well lived in Wayland colonial needed renovation. The owners, who had raised their family in the home, wanted to give it a needed update, but also prepare it with an eye towards aging-in-place. While still relatively young, they wanted to have spaces that at some point would support single floor living and easy access. They wanted to deal with this all in advance, not after the need arises.
The Kitchen and was more than doubled in size, and opened up to the Family Room. The Master Bedroom was expanded into a Master Suite with a completely updated bath.
