This 80's style kitchen had a decent layout but was isolated from the living and family rooms. By opening up the walls and adding a round seating area below a corresponding elliptical soffit we were able to integrate the rooms, creating a wonderfully warm gathering place for the family. Additionally we added several cabinets and a prep sink in a new island.
