Massive beamed ceilings throughout the house create a mood that allowed for bold, over-scaled furnishings. The plaster walls are pale greige color and the floors are mahogany.
Family Room at Dusk
The simplicity of the forms in the Dining Room create a calm atmosphere for large family gatherings. One wall of this room disappears completely so guests can enjoy the views.

This elegant gallery space connects the Living Room and Master Suite to the Family Room and Kitchen area. It shows off the exquisite wood on the floors and ceiling, playfully referenced in the Brazilian sculpture in the foreground.

Scale is everything in this voluminous space. The chandelier, a starburst of steel rods is 8' in diameter.

The soft palate serves to set off the rich woods used throughout the house. Steel swing-arm sconces at the concrete fireplace relate to the 8' steel chandelier that is the centerpiece of the room.
