These floors were pretty beat up before I refinished them. They were sanded using a state of the art belt sander and edger and Bona Power Drive multi disc sander. The floors are finished with three coats of Bona Traffic HD, a low VOC, fast drying/curing waterborne polyurethane.

I didn't install the floors, but whoever did is a true craftsman. Amazing attention to detail. There are strips of brass (which I sanded by hand before applying finish) encasing the purple heart hardwood feature strips.
