Actually, the marble looks like Calacutta to me. Calacutta tends to be whiter than Carrara with more defined veining while Carrara tends to be grayer with softer veining. Of course that is a generalization as marble can vary greatly even within the same type. 55' you are right. I went to Viking's site. All of their microwaves have a window and this is definitely their warming drawer.

This is a Viking warming drawer. The black slide at the handle level is a moisture selector. This warming drawer is a great kitchen appliance with a temperature setting from 90 to 250 degrees. It really comes handy during the holidays!

For the many questions regarding the counter top/backsplash look up "neolith". A much less earth destructive product than the mining of marble.

We recommend to put coconut fiber at the base of the plant to reduce any soil fines that would drop, also when watering you can mist the soil which will help keep the soil moist.
