What are the dimensions of the island? I currently have a 6' island and want to add the additional dining space like this to it. What are the dimensions of the smaller part and then the 'table' portion? Thanks! Love this island!

Many people will apply matte or satin finished to Black Walnut to help hide scratches and marks. Yes thats real wood.

The island is quite large, I believe the seating section is about 8' by 6' and the sink section about 5' by 5'. Thanks for the question!

This link provides the similar type of tile that it is, but the customer did not get it from this location. I would check around at some of your local tile and marble stores to see if they have something similar. Hopefully that helps.

I think the island section is about 4 feet wide by 6-7 feet ling and the table is about 5-6 feet by about 6-7 feet.

The customer ordered their stools seperate from our kitchen, but I believe they got them from a store here in Ottawa called MyHome.

We manufacture the majority of our cabinets out of 5/8" particle board. We also have a plywood line where we manufacture the boxes out of 3/4" maple plywood. In this particular kitchen, they chose our standard construction method of 5/8" particle board. Thanks for your question!

The island is a standard base cabinet/countertop finished height of 36". With the change of height for design effect, the eating area would appear to be shorter by the thickness of the countertop, so it would be at a finished height of about 34-3/4". Thanks for the question!

It is two slabs, because the height change from the island to the table. you can see it by the yellow flowers.

OK… This is what I’m talking about. I think I would want a lot more space for legs, but overall the seamlessness from the island to the extension which looks like there’s room for eight!
