Anne Bancroft, I have seen beveled glass in older Arts & Crafts homes, and they are beautiful. I have a friend with an Arts & Crafts bungalow, and she stripped the paint off the frames of her beveled glass. Her windows are gorgeous. However, I love the pop of color on the cabinets. You and your clients made beautiful choices.

The contractor dealt with the specifics in this case, but the wiring for the lights was installed through the ceiling before the cabinets were installed. The wiring is brought down through the drywall and a hole in the top of the cabinet. There are a few options for lighting, including pucks and strips tucked in behind the front top frame. If you want the light to penetrate down the cabinet, install glass shelves.

The cabinets are made of rift-cut white oak. The grain is a very straight, linear look with evenly spaced grain lines.
