Does 'letting it go' hurt the integrity of the soapstone material?

No it doesn't seem so with this kitchen sink.

Agreed, wailuka, as I checked into it too. That's why it's so hard to ask for paint colors you see based on photographs that are online. Lighting from job site to job site is always so different, then you throw in the photography and any editing that could have been done, plus from computer screen to computer screen the images will appear different. As a professional I know better than to ask that question, but it really did seem the perfect yellow for what I was looking for based on the image, so I took an off chance and asked the question so I could look for the color. I found a color like what I was seeing in the photograph by simply grabbing several shades of yellow, bringing them home and looking at them in my space and with other elements I had going on in my room. The shade I found that gave me the look I was going for was also from Pratt & Lambert called Ever Sunshine. Maybe take a look at that shade and see if you think it fits the yellow you are seeing on your screen. Hope that helps!

Thanks!

I think it's Barroca honed. Not oiled

drawer pulls, screws on the outside, black

Thank you for "stopping by" and taking the time to write a note.

Yes - a local sink fabricator built this sink for our client. And no, there has not been any concern about the apron breaking off. Our client has had this sink for 15+ years and has had no issues. The soap stone has aged really well.

It is 3cm. Thanks!

The paint is from Pratt & Lambert - Castillian Gold.

This may be possible. We suggest calling a local quartz dealer and see what they say.

The handles were applied via screws on top of the galvi and not welded on.
Note: it does null & void the warranty on the fridge doors… although we have had this set up for at least 8 years on a 13 year old fridge and it has not been a problem in any way.
Hope that helps.

Cost – should ask your local stone fabricator…. Seattle prices will not likely be the same as other places. Ann online source you could try is http://www.vermontsoapstone.com/index.html

Where did you get the sink?
It was custom made with a stone fabricator here in Seattle.
