Hello, We are a reclaimed lumber supplier and are unable to answer this question. You might check with Andrew Porth of Porth Architecture. He was the architect on this beautiful home. Thanks for looking!

The cooktop has a pop-up downdraft vent. It is a Viking, as is the cooktop.

Hello, I am not certain about the ceiling height, but we can mill one face of the hewn beams so they fit tightly against the sheetrock. For you ceiling, perhaps a height of 6" or 8" height would not make the room feel small.

Hello,
We are a lumber supplier and do not have the answer to this question. However, it appears that the beams are decorative. I imagine they are resting on a solid slab, with support underneath for the additional weight of the timbers.
Thanks,
MRL

Hello, The posts and beams are softwood hand hewn timbers. The post sizes appear to be 8x8s or 10x10s. Hopefully this helps. Please give the office a call if you would like to discuss this material in more detail. Thanks for looking!

What Houzz contributors are saying:
Jennifer Ott Design added this to Cooking With Color: When to Use Green in the Kitchen
Another beautiful kitchen featuring rich, rustic materials and gorgeous green cabinets. This is an example of a kitchen that would appeal to a wide range of tastes, even though it is colorful and has character. If you want color in your kitchen but are worried about resale value, either use color in a way that's easy to change out or pick colors that are tonal, such as the green on this cabinetry. Tonal colors are those that are light in saturation but have gray or brown mixed in. This prevents them from appearing too pastel-like. It's color that is soft and muted but also pleasingly rich and complex.
