10,000+ sq ft New Construction, Henson Forest

We made the new construction process of this 10,000 + sq foot home an enjoyable process for the homeowner. We narrowed down choices for tile, cabinetry, stains, moldings, fireplaces, paint colors, lighting, granite, stone, & more so the homeowner didn't have to spend countless hours searching. We also provided new furnishings, rugs, lighting, art and accessories for every room.

Two story window treatment
This client requested an old hollywood feel in his library. We started early in the construction process, which allowed us to specify where each recessed light should be, so they were centered in the beam ceilings.

This powder room felt bland, so we recessed a niche during the construction process. The stone arch provided texture, which was a nice contrast next to the faux walls & ceiling.

The client loves to cook, so we this Viking double oven and 8 burner stove is certainly up for the task!

This two story room felt cozy after we added window treatments and our custom cocktail ottoman. This also added a good deal of sound absorbtion for the baby grand piano!

In the basement there is a full size kitchen with a stove and double oven. We brought contemporary bar stools and a contemporary style hood, as a fun change from the more traditional kitchen on the main level.

We provided matching mahogany chests for the recessed area on each side of the fireplace. Since there were built in bookcases in three other rooms, we chose a different option for this area.

This client requested "Old Hollywood Glamorous" so that's exactly what we gave him - all the way to the 1950's oil painting and a luxurious chaise.

The client asked for a "gentleman's library". The hand knotted rug in ivory & gray is stunning next to the cherry walls. The fireplace surround is exotic granite, we found a scrap piece of granite so the client did not have to buy the entire slab. The chairs have distressed leather seats.
Library
We narrowed down the choices, and provided the owner the best two choices for paints, tiles, lighting, wood stains, cabinets, and more, so they could enjoy the building process. This saved them countless hours spent in stores looking though sample cards, a task they were not fond of!

We hand selected each of the 5 granite slabs for this expansive kitchen, and specified placement so the owner could have movement in the areas they preferred. The stove hood is functional, as there was no downdraft on this stove.

This is the AFTER of the foyer. Notice (right side) we recessed a pair of chairs in the alcove, and faux painted the back wall to accent this cozy sitting area.
