Rustic Modern home

The stone fireplace is now the center of attention. We replaced the green rug with a gray and earth tone rug. We replaced the busy print fabric with an ivory linen sofa. Colorful abstract art also adds a fresh new feeling to the home. Notice the old wooden beams which have been passed down through the family since the year 1900.

We chose black for the dining buffet so the stain wouldn't clash with the beautiful old beams which were first part of this family in the year 1900. The round mirror adds a fun whimsical touch to this otherwise traditional dining room.

This large antique was in the dining room, we brought it into the great room, for a great storage piece. The art above is a beautiful river, which lures you into the scene. The foyer table has a mirror above which reflects a beautiful outdoor view as you walk by.
