In the before, the prior designer's shelf unit had very small shelves, which meant only tiny accessories would fit. In this 15' tall room, we added a very tall floor lamp, and a black leather chair so the owner could sit in the best spot for a downtown city view.

In the before, the tiny lamps were not a good scale for such a tall room. The art with glass always had a glare from the window. The sleigh bed made the room feel small. We recommended this bed from Houzz, with a rustic industrial flair.

In the before, the prior designer's art was very bright, with a juvenile feel. The client requested a sophisticated look, so we brought "jazz man" and the soothing art behind the table. Notice when redecorating it's often possible to keep your furniture, as long as the accessories, rugs, and art...

Our 6' tall painting was a great size for this condo with very high ceilings. Our three drawer chest allows valuable storage. The mirror at the entry is handy and functional. Charlie (the dog) fits right in!!

In the before, the prior designer's pieces (art, rug, window treatments) were all a busy pattern. Our soothing pieces were very subtle, and did not detract from the great architecture (the exposed brick, exposed pipes, and great view of the city).

The "Jazz man" original art draws the eye up, to accentuate the nice tall ceilings. The pair of chairs have a tree trunk and stainless base table for setting down a drink. The art behind the dining table set is soothing in blue and gray tones.
