2 Bedroom Complex

This two-bedroom dormitory suite is intended be a multipurpose, luxurious space that reflects the calming essence and neutral preferences of the clients. Each room will incorporate natural light, versatile closets, white finishes, and easy to care for plants. The use of whites and greys will tie together the suite, while pastel accents will brighten up the space. The dorms will be used as a place to unwind, but also as a place to work on homework and plan out outfits. This project was a part of my second year Interior Design Studio class at Mount Mary University and we used fashion students as mock clients.
Project Year: 2017
For my first client, Ashley, she expressed interest in large amounts of natural light, white furniture, ambiance lighting, and grey and purple tones. She also was looking for place in her room where her dog could hang out.
2 Bedroom Complex
For Ashley's final bedroom selections, I chose a more modern bed that will pull in the greys from the wall. Her closet doors will be mirrored, and artwork like the cow will bring bright colors into the room.

This is the furniture plan of the entire bedroom complex. It is meant to serve as luxury dorms shared by Pa and Ashley. The purpose of this project was to understand space planning and match it with clients wants and needs.

Pa was also very interested in natural light and wanted the room to be light and airy place she could unwind. She expressed interest in pastel accents, mainly white furniture, and ambiance lighting.

For Pa's final bedroom selections, I chose a natural wood bed with white bedding, complemented by a white lounge chair. I pulled in pastels into the artwork throughout the room and provided her with mirrored closet doors and hanging shelves that can be used by her desk.
