Living Room Revitalization

My client was looking to find the best way possible to use her living room, in a way that was both functional and visually appealing. By rearranging the larger furniture pieces and adding in some glamorous décor, we were able to open up the room and create an oasis that my client and her husband would be able to enjoy.

This chair was a piece my client wanted to include in the final room layout, but couldn't find the perfect way to have it blend with the rest of the space.

Along the main wall when entering the room, the two larger chairs were positioned with a larger end table.

Along the other main wall, the couch was crowded and overpowered by the artwork hanging above it.

As you first enter the living room, this serves as the front entry piece that immediately gives you a feeling for the rest of the room. Blue tones and unique décor play a vital role in the remainder of the room and help to tie in the client's personality.

We decided to switch the location of the two chairs, and place the couch at a slight angle on this wall. We paired it with a smaller scale end table and large fabric panels are being made to go behind the couch.

By clearing away small décor items from the top of the mantle and adding in a small side table, this chair became another important aspect of this room that now felt connected to the other pieces.

This upgraded piece serves as one of the statement pieces in the room. My client wanted a place where she could display various items. Keeping this next to the fireplace, it doesn't take up too much space and is visible from anywhere in the room.

By moving the chairs to the smaller wall, it really opened up the opportunity to create balance and maximize seating. The trio of tables brings out gold tones in the rest of the room while creating a unique arrangement that tied the entire space together.
