This eave detail is different and old-fashioned. I love it! It costs more to install, but sets it apart from the typical eave install. Getting the crew to install and paint it is another story.

This little porch nook cried out for a beautiful window detail. It is in the hall powder room and really makes a difference in the design.

This house was originally built in the 60's. When we began taking off the roof to raise the ceilings to 10' and add the upstairs, we discovered heart pine 1X6 decking on the roof. This ceiling is 1X6's that we removed from the roof. We flipped them so the years of tar would not be exposed. We found pristine heart pine and white washed it before installing.

Custom ceiling vents to match the ceiling, which was the old roof decking.

We used the same roof decking that we covered this ceiling with for custom made vent covers in the ceiling. It produces a seamless appearance.

This is the "before" kitchen photo. We removed the roof, raised the ceilings, pushed out the back and totally changed the space and footprint of this house.

There was no way to put a gutter downspout here without interfering with the porch design. Copper rain chains took care of the downspout dilemma. They really work!

Pamela Foster: we removed this long low sink and replaced it with an antique marble one supported by antique brackets. I also removed the limestone wall wrap, changed the window to an arched new window and added a trim pc of limestone to the top of the rest of the limestone wall and shower wrap.

Pamela Foster: We totally gutted this kitchen, removed the roof and raised the ceiling heights to 10'. We also pushed out the back another 15' to make a large open space for the kitchen and new breakfast room.

This mature landscape adds so much to the look and feel of this property. The weeping willow was only 6' tall when planted 7 years ago. Now it is over 50' tall.
