This shingle style residence was originally designed in 1986 by David Andreozzi for his parents while he worked as an architectural intern at Shope Reno Wharton. In 1999 he doubled its size and renovated the entire residence for new owners who were determined to take the original neo-New England vernacular design to another level. The design is inspired by the historically traditional New England homes that were designed about a massive chimney providing a family the heat, the food, and the structural and symbolic connection to the mother earth in the cold and brutal winters.
