Our second project with these clients, we were approached with the plan to recreate a small single family 1914 home into a vibrant & functional art studio & gallery.

This front room has the option of being an office, or a front bedroom. The steeper pitch is the original roofline, with a small shed bumpout on the exterior wall.

This space will continue to evolve with a rotating selection of artwork and antiques. We love homes that age like wine.

The central hallway serves as a main viewing area for artwork-observing visitors. We used simple track lights so the heads can be snapped in and out and adjusted when the artwork gets changed over.

The steel 'I' beam is the line of the original kitchen. We added a small bump out for some breathing room.

This space will house hor d'oeuvres, demonstrations and cooking classes. Mostly, it will be filled with art!

The back room is where the magic happens. The main studio work room has plenty of open space and a fully-protected floor. The faux beams and brackets add a french country vibe, with some artsy squiggles providing some illumination!
