Fresh Blue Kitchen

This project won our 2020 award for "most deserved kitchen", both for our client and the house!

Project Year: 2020

After 20 years of living, this previously builder-grade kitchen was ready. There are kitchens that stand the test of time... cabinets that hold up... hinges that just keep opening and closing... this kitchen didn't have any of those features. The doors were falling off.

We supported the island seating overhang with custom metal brackets, cut to reminisce the elongated backsplash diamonds. The island and hook are broken up by shaker divides, creating repeating vertical cabinet to bring life to the grounded horizontal backsplash.

Within a monochromatic, soft blue palate, somewhere between leisure suit and Oregon summer sky, we found the kitchen our client so so deserved!

In the location that previously held the refrigerator, our clients gained a admirable entertainment corner, equipped with a full height wine refrigerator and brightly lit mixology center.
