SE Craftsman Revival

Often, our clients need a lot of direction in figuring out where to go with their home design. In this case, a few design interpretation, a solid set of plans and a medium sized push got this kitchen revival rolling.
Everything it lacked before, the new kitchen has new custom cabinets, extremely functional work spaces, and a rich variety of tones and textures in its finishes.

The kitchen we started with was the result of an unfortunate remodel in the 80's. The soffit made the tall room look short, there were 3 separate entrances in the room, and the available countertop wasn't practical.

The centerpiece of the room was an unused monolithic brick fireplace. It blocked the light that would come in from the back door and took up feet and feet of space.
