A house built in the 1960's isn't always mid-modern which allowed us a little design license. This home with a stunning view of Puget while warm and inviting had a kitchen that was dark and unwelcoming. Our mission per the homeowner was to open up the kitchen to the dining room for entertaining, make the space more functional for an active family of four, and add a splash of red.
