Our design objective was to create a dramatic contemporary Master Bath alluding to mid-century design without creating a direct replication for young single professional. We replaced the dark cherry vanity with a dramatically angled sink bases floating above the tile floor off a central pedestal. For that sixties touch we introduced brushed aluminum reproduction sconces and for modern flair we found an outdoor sconce that creates a sunburst pattern in the shower area. Finally, for visual impact and a sense of motion we selected a glass tile with colored vertical panels imbedded in the glass.
