We created a Trophy room retreat as a gift from the wife to the husband. Using their love of Stickley and Arts and Crafts as our jumping off point, we incorporated a loading station, an entertainment area, and a display cabinet for the husband's knife collection. Wainscoting and cornice molding was used to help frame and set off the hunting trophies while the counter top was divided in two sections - quartz for work areas and reclaimed Douglas Fir for the display areas, especially appropriate as the husband grew up in an old mill town.
