Baluster change out

Client want to upgrade their railing system. We came up with doing a baluster change out. We cut off the tops of the stair newels, removed the railing, added new rail profile and made custom newel caps. The balusters changed over to metal , Aalto series double square.

Before picture. We replaced the railing with new materials. Cut off the tops of the newels to add a new shadow caps. Removed the bottom shoe railing and added metal balusters. Painter recoated the railing system.

Handrail system was updated with new metal balusters. Old wood balusters were removed. New balusters were fitted but not glued in place. The railing and newels were painted and sprayed with three coats of clear finish. Curb walls repainted and new carpet installed.
