A zig-zag set of stairs leads to an observation deck on top of the dune. Fixed benches with a backrest face the ocean; open benches on the ocean do not obstruct the view. The benches have built-in storage compartments, and a cooler.

Framing is ground contact lumber with plenty of hurricane fasteners. The surface and benches are all ipe with an azek fascia.
