Today's market of upscale homes deserves more than just an average deck. Perhaps a stone veranda, but in some cases, elevation prohibits that.

On this project, the use of stone piers supporting the ipe deck enhanced the integrity of the property. Amenities such as the pizza oven and outdoor kitchen were also all stone.

The rear of the kitchen features a hand-painted mural framed by a stone arch and trellis. Cedar 4x10 floor joists were cantilevered to create a pergola over the French door entrance below.

The deck surface as well as the rails, are ipe, with 1" powder-coated iron spindles with accent pieces on the sub rails.
