Bold Bungalow Owners Bathroom
We converted a hallway and tiny closet and powder room on the second floor of this bungalow into a 3/4 bathroom with a water closet to eliminate the need to traipse up and down the stairs to shower and then get dressed.
A tiny closet under the eaves was opened and transformed into a generous shower, while leaving space in the hallway for flow.
To modernize the existing finishes, the hardwood floors were paired with an oak vanity, matched to the original trim in the hallway, and a bold shower in a gradient of blues and blue-green tones brings bold modern flair. Crisp white paneling and cabinetry brighten the small, angular water closet as classic details meet bright blue walls.
Storage was essential, so the vanity, medicine cabinet, and cabinetry in the water closet provide storage right where it was needed.
