Located on the ground floor of a vintage stucco house on a tree-lined street, the previous interior was a dark and cramped warren of storage spaces, a half bath, a butler's pantry and a servants kitchen. The design utilizes structural components to create a coffered ceiling with updated lighting. The new plan is clean, bright, and open to accommodate contemporary lifestyles but the cherry inset cabinetry is right at home with the original late craftsman style details on the rest of the house.
