Untouched since the 80's, this kitchen was brought into the 21st century with custom cherry cabinets in a door style designed to bridge the gap between traditional and modern detailing. Simplified moldings and panels maintain the familiar five-piece door but with clean, unfussy lines. Natural light was brought into the north facing room through clerestory wall cut-outs and a tubular skylight set into a square tapered light well.
