Eel River Inset
The setting on Cape Cod is stunning with a view of the bay outside the kitchen window but the old kitchen just didn't do it justice. Mark Howland AIA designed the kitchen and our job was to execute the cabinetry. This was our first project with our new 'Design Details' line of handmade cabinetry produced exclusively for us in Pennsylvania Amish country. This is some of the most meticulously engineered and finely finished cabinetry we've seen in the last 25 years. Not only are the cabinets furniture quality but the in-house technical staff is meticulous, and we were able to replicate the architect's vision almost exactly. Built-in refrigerators, ice makers, dishwashers, warming drawers, and even wall ovens and microwaves are set flush with the inset frames of the all wood cabinetry. Fit and finish couldn't be better and the uniform panel gaps are worthy of a Bugatti.
Since the success of this project we have continued to use our new line in several other projects. More photos coming soon.
