Our goal on this project was to create a variety of outdoor living spaces in a tightly compact urban space. The landscape is about 10' wide, but we still managed to define multiple spaces for gathering around an outdoor fire, lounging on the sun deck, and an all-season grilling area. The front yard includes a mix of native and low-maintenance plants that can tolerate the shady yard. Metal troughs were strategically placed to capture pockets of sun for a vegetable garden. Our clients have love the flexibility to entertain large groups, relax in their own private oasis, and grow their own food.
