Our goal on this project was to rebuild a failing deck and make landscape improvements that allowed for a variety of outdoor use. The natural cedar deck extends the living space and includes outdoor lighting, dining space, grilling area, under deck storage, and a built-in bench with cabinets. A rustic flagstone path connects to the additional outdoor spaces, including the patio with soaking tub, crushed rock fire circle, and forest trail that leads up to Mount Tabor Park. A rain garden collects excess water and attracts native birds, while keeping the lawn area healthy and lush. Our clients love that their beautiful backyard is safe, functional, and provides a wide range of outdoor spaces.
