This renovation design began with the desire to create a more open and welcoming front entrance area. It required changing the roof-line to achieve the new interior entry hall (formerly outdoor) space. The house was completely gutted back to the studs and transformed into a 'nearly new' comfortably efficient home with completely upgraded elements and systems throughout. The addition of the covered outdoor porch makes the home feel larger, especially during summer, when the double sliding doors stand open to allow indoor-outdoor flow, enlarging the living space. The home is simply perfect for entertaining family and friends to barbecue following sunny active beach days.
