Changing the shape of the island added more counter space as well made the kitchen seem larger. Painting out the walls a soft french gray added lightness to the kitchen.

Warm gold tones were added into the lighting, faucets and cabinet pulls.

Keeping the cherry cabinets on the outside walls of the kitchen and adding white counters and a black island called for warmth on the island. What better than gold tone faucets and light fixtures!
