Our 1903 house was built without bathrooms. This one on the main floor was added in an addition behind part of the kitchen. Since the home had been turned into a rental in the late 80's, nothing was done to upgrade the bathroom. When we moved in, the quick fix was just to paint it! The counters are old laminate and the floors linoleum. Both I painted. There is a pipe running through the bathroom that I thought would be fun to play up by striping both it and the walls. One day we will tear out most of the cabinets and floor, but for now it is a fun space to be in :)
