Chasing Coral

We took ONE bathroom in this DC rowhome and turned it into 2 bathrooms and a nursery! Not kidding. It was a lot to pack in to a small space, but the homeowners knew they needed all the rooms for their growing family. The biggest challenge was how do you make it feel purposeful and like it was always meant to be there? With strategic space-planning and fun design, these 2 bathrooms came out all that we hoped for and more.

Our client wanted white subway tile on the shower wall, so we brought in a shower door with loads of interest to make sure the space didn't feel "typical."

Since we used white subway tile on the wall, we wanted to do a crazy floor to make it interesting. We custom-colored these cement floor tiles and chose a tonal wall color paint. It's not a perfect match on purpose:).
