The home sits in a historic and architecturally rich neighborhood near LSU. Therefore, the addition needed to blend seamlessly with the home's existing architectural style. On a lot that rubs shoulders with it's neighbors, the addition had to be understated yet functional. The light color pallet and intentional space plan help to eliminate the effects of lot restrictions while inside the bath. Second, came a complete rework of an existing detached garage/storage building. After completely reworking the storage areas on the first floor, a second floor was added that now hosts a large and spacious home office/living. Plenty of natural light and open space helps this homeowner stretch their creativity to seemingly endless heights.
