Floor to ceiling windows and corner views certainly informed the design of this space. A favorite spot in the master suite is what my clients call their Buddha corner, a perfect spot to enjoy a book, glass of wine, or a moment of meditation.
With an abundance of natural light, window treatments become a consideration. In the bedroom, all needs are met: light filtering, darkening, and the aesthetic glory of velvet. In the open space living area, light filtering is all that is needed. In the office/guest room light filtering curtains with room darkening shades does the job. An overall light, refreshing palette with a variety of blue-green accents creates a fun, peaceful home.
