Irving Place
InsideWright's most recent project was a Manhattan pied-à-terre. I love designing 2nd homes!!
This was a new home that needed to accommodate some pre-existing furniture and accessories. (Pre-existing items: desk, desk chair, dining room rug, 2 dining chairs, accessories, bedset, bed linens.)
The goal was create an environment that welcomed my client's "country-eclectic" tastes, but also felt "Manhattan chic".
We worked together to find items that truly spoke to my clients, and fit the space just right. My biggest role was: finding great fabrics to reupholster chairs, cover a bespoke sofa, dress the windows and walls, and choosing the right paint colors. My custom workroom and contractor made this home come to life. The new furniture, lighting and accessories were found through a collective effort.
(A number of the decorative accessories have since been replaced.)
