Clackamas Project
After living in her home for over 15 years and not doing much to update it, this homeowner was ready for a major overhaul throughout the house. Starting with the kitchen, we were able to reconfigure the space to make it more efficient as well as more light, bright, and updated. By extending the cabinets to the ceiling and having them run the full length of the kitchen, there was a tremendous amount of extra storage created. The counter that drops down to table height is the perfect size for one or four and utilizes what would otherwise be wasted space while creating a smooth transition from the kitchen to the living room. In the Living room, the fireplace wall was updated with new built-ins, tile, and a mantle, again creating more storage and a place for the TV. The new area rug, and furniture add to the more modern feel of the space. Throughout the most of the house, new hardwood floors were installed along with fresh white trim, molding and doors creating a seamless, unifying look.
