As an interior designer, it can be nerve racking sharing projects in your own home. This is my (Ann Reed) Master Bedroom and I am so happy with how it turned out. It perfectly displays so much of what I love.
I started with the main pieces of furniture (headboard, I DIY'd, bedside tables from Ethan Allen, chair from West Elm, and heirloom vanity and hope chest), The dark walls are moody, yet warm. The variety of textures, from the faux fur, to the velvet damask, the hand knotted rug, and the lucite lamps, create so much depth. This is a very rich, comfortable space that makes me so happy when I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning.
