Cobble Hill Waterfront Loft

When a young family came to us looking to decorate a newly purchased 3,000 square foot Pied-à-terre we got excited. The news that it was below their duplex penthouse overlooking the waterfront north of Red Hook, Brooklyn made us start dreaming.

The requirements: a place to host parties with a private chef, a place to play pool and poker, watch movies on a large screen, a playroom for the kids and offices for both parents.

The entertaining chef's kitchen has large stainless steel pendants by Bestlite and is set up for hiring a private chef for a large party.

We hung Granada lanterns from L'Aviva Home above the custom poker table and had a table made with felt on one side for playing poker and wood on the other for dining. The leather clad Cherner chairs are comfortable enough for long poker games but chic enough for a dinner party.

With a custom orange felt pool table, bronze two-toned Apparatus sconces and rug from Merida the pool room has a lot of energy that separates it from the quieter living room and dining room.

In the living room everything was made custom to fit the large space and big groups that will be using the space. A tufted, leather ottoman allows you to kick back and put your feet up. The sofa is extra long and upholstered in an off-white outdoor mohair that allows red wine to be wiped up.

Since we have completed this project we get frequent updates that the family uses this space daily!
