Coconut Grove Bachelor Pad
Bachelor pad infused with a modern aesthetic in Miami's Coconut Grove. An open kitchen plan features everything to get the party started- from a kegerator built in to the countertop and a wine chiller that holds 46 bottles, to an over-sized island with plenty of seating. A combination of bamboo and acrylic cabinets, crisp white quartz countertops and the glass mosaic backsplash evoke a fresh modern vibe. The beams were exposed and finished above the ceiling for a lofty feel. The first floor guest bath has a small vanity with an over-sized medicine cabinet for extra storage and a walk in shower tiled in bright glass 3x6 straight joint tile for a modern, yet sophisticated pop of color. Flooring throughout the home is a neutral, medium toned porcelain for super low maintenance. We refinished the stairs and replaced the railing with modern steel. The master suite upstairs received hardwood flooring, a walk-in closet and a relaxing bath. We created a walkthrough shower with a drop-in tub beyond to maximize space. A combination of porcelain and marble create a luxe feel. Lots of built-in storage including glass shelving and double medicine cabinets along with a floating vanity complete the space.
