I became interested in the Art Nouveau furniture designs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries while studying interior design in the early 1990's. I had of course been designing furniture for some 20 years prior but began a focus on this as a stylistic intention for me to consider in contemporary terms. I'll be adding more for these pieces I designed and built during the 90's. The first piece here was built in 1997, after a number of smaller explorations.
