Based on the request for a contemporary version of the Greene and Greene style of Craftsman or Arts and Crafts style, I designed, managed construction, and built 47 unique pieces of furniture for this commission in Gig Harbor, Washington. I worked with the G&G stylizations but referred to architectural details provided by this beautiful bungalow overlooking the Puget Sound. For example the arch and cuts in the side of the desk apron, and inlays elsewhere throughout the project, reflected the window detailing of the home
