The Old Town charm of this 1906 home needed a modern flair. We raised the kitchen walls 10” and added a cathedral ceiling. A modern cabinet design w/ a backsplash of glass strips…Modern; the Misty Carrera countertop and painted moldings…Classic. Hot Mocha Maple floors add warmth throughout. Old Town meets Modern in a 21st century home w/ Old Town charm. This kitchen was on the Master Builders Association of Pierce County's 2011 Tour of Remodeled Homes.
